Playing catch up...

...Once again.  :)    The end of the school year was a whirlwind and now that we can finally go at a slower pace, I find myself too caught up in relaxing and having fun with the kids these last few weeks.  Love the days of summer, but blogging has taken a backseat!  Time to get caught up!

Here are a couple of patriotic themed cards using Bo Bunny's Liberty collection to start.........

I absolutely love the Noteworthy Die Cut's Bo Bunny has included in their recent collections!

Supplies:
Bo Bunny: Liberty collection

Family Reunion Card

The flourished stamp in this collection is beautiful!  And my star punch fits perfectly too.  I heat embossed the stamped image with white embossing powder onto the navy circle.

Supplies:
Bo Bunny: Liberty collection
Fiskars Americas Tools: Twinkle, Twinkle Squeeze Punches and Circle Shape Template

If you're looking for an easy summer craft for your teen, these stamped bracelets with hemp are super simple too.
Stamped Bracelets

Supplies:
Fiskars Americas Tools:
Simple Stick Repositionable Stamps - Shapes & Such
Clear Stamps - Butterfly Magic
Craft Hand Drill
Other: hemp, 1" craft wood circles and assorted beads

Here's a few projects that I created for the Glue Arts Blog...
Birthday Album

This birthday book album made with Unibind's PhotoBook Creator is my solution to recording all the kids' birthdays in one place.  The pages are designed to be very simple with just a single photo and a bit of space below for journaling.  I think it will be fun to be able to look back on each year at a glance without digging through multiple books.

Supplies:
Unibind: Album and PhotoBook Creator Tool
Glue Arts: Adhesives
Basic Grey: Birthday
Fiskars Americas Tools: Twinkle, Twinkle and Round 'n Round Squeeze Punches; Scallop Paper Edgers, Ultra ShapeXpress Tool

I decorated this clear acrylic tag from Clear Scraps with paint and the Modern Homemaker collection from October Afternoon.
Home Sweet Home Decor Tag

I die cut flowers from a 12" x 12" clear sheet.  After removing the protective layers, I used a heat gun to sculpt the petals and then layered the acrylic flowers with paper flowers.

Supplies:
Clear Scraps: Tag (album) and 12" x 12" clear sheet
Glue Arts: Adhesives
Sizzix: Flower Layers (Original Dies)

Last but not least is this gift set for my new neighbors - a houseplant with a decorated plant stick and a coordinating card.
Welcome Neighbor Gift & Card

Supplies:
Glue Arts: Adhesives
October Afternoon: Modern Homemaker collection
Fiskars Americas Tools: Squeeze Punches - heart, circles, cloud, leaves; Lever Punches - flower and butterfly

That's it for now, but I'll have more to share soon.  Happy crafting and hope you're enjoying summer, too!
Happy 4th of July!!!
