Cards, cards, cards....

Hands down, cards are my favorite things to make these days.  With so much to do this summer with the kids I find that creating a card is the perfect quick project. So today I have a bunch of cards to share that I've made over the past couple of months...

To start...a card that I made recently using Fiskars tools and stamps along with Glue Arts Adhesives...

Vintage Thank You Card         


















I've seen the paper cone wreaths for awhile now and wanted to try it out, but on a smaller scale.  This cone flower was just the thing!  To give the cones a softer shape, I used Fiskars Cloud Squeeze Punch and rolled small cones that I pieced together for this dimensional flower.  You can find the instructions (card title link) on the Glue Arts blog.

Missing You 

Crimped paper can be difficult to apply adhesive without flattening out its texture.  But Glue Arts Adhesive Squares worked perfectly to adhere these paper strips to the crimped kraft cardstock background on this card.  And the U-Cut-It Adhesive Foam let me add lots of dimension for these adorable fish from Fancy Pants Designs Beach Babe collection.

This Fiskars stamp was a perfect match for Kaisercraft's Velvet Ensemble collection.

This card is actually from back in April.  I used scrolled corner die cuts from Sizzix to create the squares framing each circle accent. 
 







And the butterfly was created from several Sizzix heart die cuts that I pieced together.

Wild About You Card

A great sketch was provided by the very talented Christiane Muller that you can find on the Bo Bunny Blog.

















The Zoology collection has a gorgeous array of pattern papers but the Dimensional Stickers are the cutest...like this adorable crocodile!
