Felt Christmas Ornaments

Made these super easy felt friends from regular craft felt and embellished them with buttons, ribbon, beads and a bit of hand stitching.  They're really cute and something you can make yourself or have the kids do on a chilly day.

1.  Create/draw or find a template shape to use.  Size the shape to about 5-6 inches.  Create a cardboard or chipboard template and use that to trace onto the back of your felt - cut 2.
2.  Embellish the front piece of felt with stitching, beads, buttons, bows, etc.  The snowman's hat is just a bit of an outgrown striped tee my daughter donated to my scrap fabric pile.  Great fabric for this kind of project as it doesn't fray and you can do all sorts of embellishments with it.... like a scarf too.
3. Then layer the 2 pieces together, tuck a length of ribbon between the layers at the top and machine/hand stitch around the edge to complete.

That's it!  Easy peasy & something  you can do while watching those holiday movies this season.  Enjoy!
