Hey there! It's been awhile, but I'm jumping back into blogging today for the Glue Arts / Want 2 Scrap Spring into Summer Blog Hop.
This week we had the chance to work with a fabulous assortment of embellishments from Want 2 Scrap. I absolutely love their chipboard! Here's a card that I made...
"Hello" card

Trace the chipboard shapes onto pattern paper, cut out and apply the paper to the chipboard shapes using Perma Tac Adhesive. Sand around the edges of the paper to distressed. Use the Glue Glider Pro to layer the chipboard pieces and adhere them over the paper strips.
Cut butterflies from vellum and adhere them to the center of the chipboard using Mini Adhesive Squares. Use Micro Extreme Adhesive Squares on the back of the chipboard flourishes to adhere these on a diagonal across the card.
Apply a decorative accent to the center of the butterfly/chipboard using U-Cut-It Adhesive Foam. Tuck the heart pennant sticker just under the flower accent.
For the sentiment, create pennant strips from both pattern paper and a cut piece of Want 2 Scrap’s Canvas Tag. Layer these with Adhesive Squares and apply this to the bottom right of the card, again using Adhesive Squares to secure the piece. Apply the heart sticker border, then add a piece of U-Cut-It Adhesive Foam to the back of the “hello” sticker and apply. To complete the card, tie a bow from hemp and adhere to the card (left side of the sentiment accent) with a Micro Extreme Adhesive Square. Add hemp to the button and attach it with an Extreme Adhesive Square.

Instructions:
Create the card background
by cutting a 4x6 piece of pattern paper and adhering it using the Glue Glider
Pro with Perma Tac Adhesive near the top left of a 5x7 piece of kraft
cardstock. Tuck a scalloped strip of
pattern paper under the right side of the pattern paper and add machine
stitching around the edge. Cut 2 strips
of pattern paper slightly wider than the card, trim the ends like a
banner/pennant and again use the Glue Glider Pro to adhere this to the middle
of the card.
Next, apply Want 2 Scrap’s
Self Adhesive Pearls onto the chipboard flourishes.
